The Tarkine in Tasmania's north west is a place of pristine natural beauty and the gateway to the edge of the world. Featuring vast rainforests, towering trees, buttongrass plains and wild rushing rivers, there are few places in the world that can match the Tarkine's beauty.
Tarkine Forest Adventures is located at Dismal Swamp, which contrary its name, is a place of beauty. It is the site of the largest sinkhole in the Southern Hemisphere and is surrounded by incredible scenery and an ancient blackwood forest that is home to some especially-adapted animals.
Please note Tarkine Forest Adventures will be closed on the 19th February 2010 due to Aurora Energy Upgrades.

World class mountain bike tracks
Featuring 13 kilometres of track winding through the pristine blackwood forest, the new facility is suitable for riders of all ages and ability levels.
The track incorporates three loops of varying difficulty that cater for beginners right through to the hard core cyclist. The trail enables riders to test their stamina and skills and the setting gives them the opportunity to get out and explore the area and take in the beauty of the Tarkine's blackwood forests first hand.
